Tulla Tweed | Mulesing-free wool and recycled cotton blend yarn

Tulla Tweed is a beautifully constructed chainette yarn that blends the warmth of merino wool with the sustainability of recycled cotton. Designed to be lightweight, warm and less prone to pilling, this unique blend self-stripes when worked up and features tasteful tweed flecks for added character.

The chainette construction creates a hollow core, which traps heat while keeping garments breathable and light, making it perfect for cozy yet airy sweaters, scarves and accessories.

When working with Tulla Tweed, it’s best to use a larger needle size than you would with traditionally plied yarns to allow for its natural stretch and drape.

Tulla Tweed is made up of a blend of 49% non-mulesed virgin wool, 26% recycled cotton, 13% eco-friendly recycled nylon, acrylic and viscose for durability. The yarn is made in Italy and is OEKO-TEX certified.

Tulla Tweed is a modern, innovative yarn that offers both style and substance. Whether you’re crafting garments, shawls or cozy winter accessories, this yarn will add depth and warmth to every stitch.
